Karisa Saywers

Karisa Saywers is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in strategic marketing and media relations. Currently serving as a Senior Communications Specialist at Central Plateau Cleanup Company since December 2022, Karisa focuses on creating cohesive communication products that enhance employee engagement and underscore contributions to the Hanford Site cleanup mission. Prior to this role, Karisa held the position of Director of Marketing at Visit Tri-Cities, where positive media relationships were cultivated, and served as the primary liaison for travel writers. Experience also includes positions as Marketing Coordinator at Milbrandt Vineyards Inc., where media relations and marketing collateral development were managed, and as Public Relations & Trade Show Coordinator at Appaloosa Horse Club, overseeing media programs. Additionally, early career experience includes reporting for the Tri-Cities Area Journal of Business. Karisa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Washington State University.
