Nykolas Bata

Nykolas Bata is a Site Reliability Engineer with extensive experience in observability platforms and cloud-based services. Currently employed at Paddle since September 2024, Nykolas previously worked at Dunelm from February 2020 to August 2024, where expertise in OpenTelemetry was utilized to enhance observability while reducing logging costs and vendor lock-in. Prior roles include a Junior Software Engineer at Omnicom Balfour Beatty, contributing to a data analysis tool for train line information using C#, JavaScript, and SQL, and a Developer at Jammoo, where an educational iPad game was created in Unity. Nykolas holds a BSc in Computer Games Programming from De Montfort University, earned between 2016 and 2019.
