Elvira Lathrop

Elvira Lathrop is a designer currently employed at Page Southerland Page, Inc. since June 2022, having previously completed a design internship at Britt Design Group in 2021. With extensive experience in public service, Lathrop served at the Housing Authority of the City of Austin for nearly a decade, holding roles such as Director of Special Programs & Intake, Special Grants Compliance Supervisor, and Housing Eligibility Specialist. Lathrop's expertise includes compliance management for assisted housing programs, policy development, and case management for Housing Choice Voucher participants. Early career experiences include management of the "Cash for College" program at Foundation Communities and litigation support at Scott, Douglass & McConnico. Lathrop holds a Master's degree in Interior Design from The University of Texas at Austin and advanced degrees in Political Science and Philosophy from Texas State University, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Government and Sociology from The University of Texas at Austin.
