Al Mainville

Al Mainville is a seasoned geology professional with extensive experience in the mining industry. Currently serving as Geology Manager, Interim Timmins General Manager, and Acting Mine Manager at Pan American Silver Corp. since September 2019, Al has held key roles at several notable companies, including Chief Mine Geologist at Tahoe Resources Inc. from March 2017 to August 2019, and multiple positions at Goldcorp from September 2006 to February 2017, including Geological Superintendent for the PGM Century Project. Al's career began as an Exploration Junior Geologist at COMINCO RESOURCES (UK) LIMITED in 1996 and has included positions as Senior Underground Geologist at Placer Dome Canada Limited and underground mining geologist at Kinross Gold Corporation. Al holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Laurentian University, earned between 1995 and 1998.
