Deven Hartley

Deven Hartley is an experienced TV/Film Agent at Paonessa Talent Agency since December 2020, currently based in Nashville, TN. Previous roles include Creative Talent Consultant from 2018 to September 2021, where Deven focused on authentic representation and innovative casting methods. Earlier experience at Paonessa Talent Agency from May 2016 to August 2018 involved managing a diverse roster of talent and establishing the first trans/queer talent department in Chicago. As the Founder and Curator of WITCH HAZEL from 2013 to 2017, Deven produced performance installations and secured venue bookings. Additional experience as a Theatrical Agent at BMG Models and Talent and Casting Director at Two Birds Casting contributed to a comprehensive background in talent management and casting processes. Deven holds a BA in Performance Studies/French from Northwestern University and has educational experience at Université Sorbonne Nouvelle and University School of Nashville.
