Scientist Ii, Pharmacology at Parabilis Medicines

Kelsey Barrasso, PhD, currently serves as Scientist II in Pharmacology at Parabilis Medicines since January 2025. Previously, Kelsey was a Scientist II and Scientist I in Host-Pathogen Interactions at Seres Therapeutics from January 2022 to October 2024, where efforts included directing collaborations for gastrointestinal models, leading research initiatives with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and optimizing microbiome-based therapeutic candidates. Prior experience includes a role as Research Scientist at Sanofi Pasteur from April 2021 to January 2022, focusing on mRNA vaccine immunogenicity and managing animal studies, and postdoctoral research at Tufts University School of Medicine from September 2015 to April 2021, where Kelsey investigated quorum sensing regulation. Kelsey earned a PhD in Molecular Microbiology and a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Health Science from Emmanuel College in Boston.
