Kae D’Apice

Senior Consultant at Paradigm

As part of the Organizational Strategy & Transformation team, Kae illuminates the role of individuals in changemaking and reinvigorates people’s confidence in what is possible. They are passionate about deconstructing binary thinking to examine its impact on actions. Their approach is rooted in community building and uniting and motivating people toward the growth mindset needed to do intentional and transformative inclusion and equity work.

Kae brings years of experience as a facilitator and diversity, equity, and inclusion program manager, designing accessible training programs, and leading workshops and conversations on topics like allyship, unconscious bias, pronouns, gender identity, and racial equity. They have partnered closely with executives, project stakeholders, and current and future leaders on data-driven DEI initiatives that align with company values and strategy, creating spaces to practice the behaviors necessary to drive change.

Their connection to this work has kept them an active partner in their communities. Serving on the Steering Committee for TechTownPDX, they supported efforts to build a more diverse and inclusive tech community through collective action. By coaching junior roller derby and volunteering with the Portland Children’s Levy, they also stayed grounded in their commitment to serving and creating inclusive spaces for youth.
