Krista Amato Stancic

Krista Amato Stancic is a Materials and Process Engineer at Paragon Space Development Corporation, focusing on the Habitation and Logistics Outpost (HALO) program to produce the MIUL for the Environment Control and Life Support System (ECLSS) as of January 2024. Previously, at Honeywell from March 2017 to April 2023, Krista served as a Senior Advanced R&D Project Engineer and Advanced R&D Project Engineer, managing program planning, cost, and schedules for materials and manufacturing process development while liaising with customers and subcontractors. Krista also worked as a Materials Engineer at Aker Solutions from August 2013 to August 2016, conducting R&D projects, establishing additive manufacturing strategies, and ensuring quality control of suppliers. Academic experience includes a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering and a B.S. in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from The University of Texas at El Paso, where Krista was involved in research on Nb-based superalloys for high-temperature turbine applications.
