Amir Almotahari

Amir Almotahari, PhD, PE, is a Transportation Engineer at Parametrix since September 2020. Prior to this role, Amir served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Stony Brook University from September 2016 to August 2020 and completed a Traffic Engineering Internship at KLD Engineering, P.C. in the summer of 2019. Amir holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Transportation from Stony Brook University, awarded in 2020, and an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Operations Research from the same institution (2018-2019). Earlier academic achievements include a Master of Science in Transportation from the University of Tehran (2013-2015) and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Tehran (2009-2013).
