Yasemin Özel

Yasemin Rice is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in technology and education. Currently serving as a Sr. Solutions Engineer at Iris since May 2022, Yasemin has a rich history in engineering roles, having held positions such as Sr. Director of Solution Engineering at Civitas Learning and Principal Sales Engineer at Lithium Technologies. In addition to technical expertise, Yasemin is also the Owner, Baker, Designer, and Decorator at Red Poppy Bakery, a venture initiated in December 2016. Educationally, Yasemin holds a BS in Computer Science and Mathematics from The University of Texas at Austin and received Montessori Teacher Certification from the Center for Guided Montessori Studies. Previous experience includes various roles in programming and project management at companies such as Bazaarvoice and National Instruments.
