Katy Chowning

Katy Chowning is a seasoned tax professional and academic with extensive experience in tax management and higher education. Currently serving as a Visiting Assistant/Associate Accounting Professor at Park University since August 2017, Katy focuses on Accounting and Tax courses. Prior to this role, Katy has held significant positions, including Director of Tax at Adknowledge and International Tax Manager at Cerner Corporation, overseeing tax compliance for multiple countries. Previous experience also includes Tax Manager roles at CBIZ MHM, LLC, and Ernst & Young, where Katy specialized in various areas of taxation. Katy holds a Master's degree in Accounting & Information Systems from the University of Kansas and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the same institution.
