Joy Cusack is a Graduate of the Company Directors Course of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia and member of Women on Boards. Joy holds a masters degree in Corporate Affairs (University of Sydney). She is an experienced chair and non-executive director with more than 20 years’ experience in the not-for-profit area, in particular social enterprise businesses. Her lengthy corporate career included Dow Corning (now Dow) as a global team member across a range of business segments. Joy brings a wealth of experience including governance and strategy, crisis and change management, corporate communications, brand awareness, mergers and acquisitions, recruiting and mentoring directors together with performance management of CEOs. Her recent community emphasis has been on social impact measurement.
Joy is chair of the Governance and the Strategic Planning committees and a member of both the Audit and Risk committees.
She is a perpetual member of the Parramatta Leagues Club and member of the Eels. Her family have been fans of the Eels for more than 45 years. They have a history of connections within the Parramatta area including business and community involvement, as well as residing in the area 45+ years.
