Jose Ramon Pando

Jose Ramon Pando is an experienced professional in urban planning and tourism promotion, currently serving as Asesor de la Alcaldía at Ayuntamiento de Oviedo since 2011. In this role, Pando has contributed to urbanism initiatives, including the General Urban Planning Plan and accessibility improvements. Pando has also focused on enhancing Oviedo's cultural tourism, developing strategies for commercial tourism segments, and fostering international relationships, particularly through the hermanamiento with Tampa. Prior to this, Pando held leadership roles in various organizations, including President of Hermanamiento Ciudades Hermanas and Director General of Pando & Associates, Inc. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Architecture and Urbanism from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Mississippi State University.
