Teagan Brown is the current President at PARTNERS BEHAVIORAL HEALTH MANAGEMENT. Teagan has held this position since June of 2018. Prior to that, they were the Development Director at A Caring Alternative, LLC from June 2014 to June 2018. In that role, they were a key leadership team member and an active participant in making strategic decisions affecting A Caring Alternative’s sustainability and growth.
As Development Director, they were responsible for organization sustainability through project and relationship management; branding, marketing and media; and resource development activities. Teagan also led and directed high-priority projects (starting new services), presented project status and issues to Management Team, including technical, schedule and financial issues. Additionally, they managed projects from original concept through final implementation, interfaced with all areas affected by the project, ensured adherence to quality standards and reviewed project deliverables.
In their role as Development Director, they were also responsible for all aspects of the project over the entire project life cycle (initiate, plan, execute, control, and transition). This included assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources as needed, and developing a schedule to ensure timely completion of the project. Teagan also managed financial aspects for the project against assigned budget, assisted and reviewed all startup and planning documents.
In addition to their duties as Development Director, they were also responsible for the development and implementation of outreach strategies and initiatives that were consistent with ACA’s
Teagan Brown has a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling/Counselor from Montreat College, a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, General from Appalachian State University, and an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant from Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute.
