Asad Khan

Asad Khan is a Group Program Manager in Microsoft Data Group. Asad runs the Product Management for SQL Server, Machine Learning Server and the Big Data Spark offering on Azure. This includes SQL on Linux, tools investments as well as SQL Hosting business in other Clouds. In the past Asad ran HDInsight service, which is an open source analytics offerings on Azure. He also helped bring other Big Data offerings on Azure in collaboration with companies like Cloudera, Confluent and Hortonworks.

He has spent the last few years working on Data technologies and building Cloud Services. Asad enjoys working with large enterprises to modernize their data pipeline and enable intelligent applications. Asad holds a master’s degree from Stanford University.
