Akshan Jirasinha

Akshan Jirasinha is a seasoned professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as Technical Lead UK at Pathfinder Clean Energy (PACE) Limited since May 2020, focusing on the development of clean energy projects, grid connection management, and large-scale solar PV development in the UK. Prior to this role, Akshan acted as Renewables Projects Manager at Accolade Wines from September 2017 to April 2020, successfully integrating renewable projects within a 24/7 manufacturing environment. Akshan's career at TGC Renewables spanned from October 2011 to September 2017, starting as a Design Engineer for Wind & Solar Energy before being promoted to Project Manager, overseeing the construction of 10MWp solar PV farms and managing various project challenges. Akshan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Renewable Energy from the University of Exeter, completed in 2011.
