Katie Pettinger

Katie Pettinger is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in strategic partnerships and commercialization across various sectors, including energy, life sciences, and technology. Currently serving as the Director of Strategic Partnerships and Growth at the U.S. Research Impact Alliance, Katie previously held advisory roles and executive positions at companies such as Pathfinder Health, Inc. and Arcaea, where responsibilities included leading commercialization efforts for cosmetic ingredients. As CEO and Co-founder of Gadusol Laboratories, Katie focused on leveraging synthetic biology for natural sun protection, culminating in a successful acquisition by Arcaea. Additional roles include commercialization management at Oregon State University, project management at KeyLogic Systems, and technology scouting at VertueLab. Katie holds an MBA in Technology Commercialization from Oregon State University and a Bachelor's degree in Business Marketing from Geneva College.
