James Hawkins

James Hawkins is a seasoned administrative leader with extensive experience managing operations and services in prominent organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Administrative Services at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) since August 2013, James oversees facility management, meetings and travel operations, budget planning, and vendor negotiations, while providing strategic support to the Chief Operating Officer. Prior to this role, James held positions such as Office/Operations Manager at the Pew Research Center and Office/Meetings Manager at The Pew Charitable Trusts, where responsibilities included logistical coordination, budget preparation, and vendor management. James began a career in administration as an Office Administrator at the National PTA, effectively managing internal functions and coordinating significant events.
