Aaron Leiter is a patent prosecutor with experience in electronics, semiconductor and communication technologies. Before joining Patterson + Sheridan, Aaron worked with a large telecommunications company where he received an Ideation Award for process improvements he developed for circuit provisioning and network design. His familiarity with telecommunications technology — from wireless transmissions to network topology — now informs his patent application writing process and helps him defend his clients’ intellectual property.
As an electrical engineering student Aaron worked designing and developing electronics and semiconductor devices related to integrated circuit (IC) fabrication, plasma and vacuum technologies, and radio frequency. His engineering background gives him a framework for better understanding the patentability of cutting-edge technologies and expedites the research process, saving his clients time and resources. He loves the challenge of articulating a complex legal idea or technical concept in a simple way. When it comes to practicing law, Aaron strives to remain approachable in both his writing and his demeanor with clients.
