Odetta Smith

Odetta Smith, Ed.D., currently serves as the Director of Innovation & Life Readiness for the Pattonville School District, where responsibilities include setting the vision and strategic plan for innovative programs. Smith has held various roles in education, including Assistant Principal and High School English Teacher, contributing significantly to curriculum development, teacher support, and data analysis. Prior experience includes Head of School at The Freedom School, where management of a 103-student urban elementary school involved budget oversight and policy establishment. Smith's educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education in Superintendency from Maryville University, a Master of Education in School Leadership from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and a degree from Harvard Graduate School of Education.
