Maria Alejandra Ayala

Maria Alejandra Ayala, CPA, is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in assurance and internal controls. Currently serving as the Senior Accounting & Internal Controls Manager at Paulson Puerto Rico since September 2024, Maria previously held the position of Assurance Manager and Senior Assurance Associate at Driven Advisors from February 2021 to September 2024. Prior to that, Maria gained valuable experience at BDO in Puerto Rico, working as an Assurance Senior Associate, Assurance Associate, and Assurance Intern between January 2017 and February 2021. Maria earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico - Metropolitan Campus, completing the degree in 2017.
