Carol Lee Hobson, CISM, currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer at PayNearMe and is a member of the Board of Directors for Credit Union West. Previous roles include Chief Operational and Technology Risk Officer at Sallie Mae and Head of Business Risk & Controls for Enterprise Operations Support at USAA. Hobson also held senior positions at Wells Fargo as Senior Vice President for Technology Operations Risk Management and at PNC as Sr. Vice President for Technology and Operations Risk. Prior to these roles, Hobson spent fourteen years at American Express, where multiple leadership positions were held, including Vice President and Lead Operational Risk Officer and Vice President for IT Quality and Performance Management.
