Aklen Altinel is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in the financial technology sector, currently serving as the Enterprise Technology Officer in the CIO Office at PayPal Pte. Ltd. since September 2014. Responsibilities include driving operational excellence, aligning IT initiatives with strategic goals, and managing risks. Aklen has a diverse background that includes roles in global business development, international markets, and operations management across various regions including the EMEA and MENA. Prior to PayPal, Aklen was an ecommerce entrepreneur and held positions at Yandex, Turkcell, Siemens, and Koç Holding A.Ş. Aklen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Latin Language and Literature from Istanbul University.
