Carlos Teixeira

Carlos Teixeira is an experienced professional with a strong background in data governance, engineering, and architecture. Currently serving as Director of Innovation at PBT Group since September 2019, Carlos focuses on creating advanced digital, data, and architectural solutions tailored to diverse client needs. Prior to this role, Carlos held positions at Absa Group as VP of Data Governance, where the establishment of comprehensive data governance frameworks was a key responsibility, and at Transunion as Group Data Manager, overseeing ETL processes and centralizing data systems. Carlos also contributed at Standard Bank Group as System Integrations Manager, developing integration frameworks for data platforms. Educational qualifications include an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner credential from Amazon Web Services and ongoing studies towards a Bachelor of Science in Informatics from the University of South Africa.
