Brighid Carey

Brighid Carey is an experienced professional in international education and programming, currently serving as the Deputy Director of Programming and Training for the Peace Corps in Costa Rica since June 2018. Prior roles include Regional Manager for Colombia TEFL, Programming and Training Specialist in Colombia, Operations and Marketing Manager/Consultant for Global Routes, and Communications & Partnerships Associate at Venture with Impact, LLC. Brighid has a robust background in managing volunteers, developing training sessions, and enhancing communication between stakeholders. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Intercultural Service, Leadership and Management from the School for International Training and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Latin American Studies from the University of Connecticut. Additional study abroad experiences were completed at IES Abroad in Quito, Ecuador, and Universidad de Granada in Spain.
