Omid Kordestani

Omid Kordestani has extensive experience in executive leadership and board governance across multiple high-profile technology companies. Currently serving as Chairman of Pearson and a member of the Board of Directors at Klarna, Kordestani has also held significant roles at Twitter, where Kordestani was Executive Chairman and a Board member until October 2022. Previous positions include Senior Advisor and Chief Business Officer at Google Inc., as well as non-executive director roles at Vodafone and Spotify. Kordestani began a notable career in sales and business development at Google, Netscape Communications, The 3DO Company, and GO Corporation. Educationally, Kordestani holds an MBA in Organizational Leadership from Stanford University and a BS in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from San Jose State University.
