Thanuri Geeganage

Thanuri Geegannage is an accomplished software testing professional with extensive experience in quality assurance and test automation. Currently serving as a Software Test Automation Engineer at Pearson UK since November 2022, Thanuri previously held the position of Senior Software Quality Engineer at Pearson Lanka from March 2021 to August 2022. Prior experience includes roles at Virtusa as an Associate Consultant Quality Assurance and Senior QA Engineer, where projects spanned industries such as telecommunications and healthcare, utilizing both Agile and Iterative Waterfall methodologies. Thanuri commenced the career as a QA Engineer, contributing to projects in hospitality and retail. A graduate with a BSc in Software Engineering specializing in Java from The Chamber of Chartered Java Professionals International, education was initiated at Ananda Balika Vidyalaya in Colombo.
