Matteo Cugno

Matteo Cugno is an accomplished professional with a strong background in engineering and business development. Currently serving as Founding Sales at Peerbound since December 2024, Cugno is responsible for driving new business opportunities through lead generation and pipeline development. Previously, Cugno worked as a Mechanical Engineer II at BAE Systems, Inc., contributing to the F-35 JSF program through CAD modeling, thermal analysis, and teamwork across disciplines. Cugno co-founded The Cubby, an art marketplace for Gen Z artists, which successfully attracted acquisition by a major art collective. Additionally, Cugno was recognized as a Top Gun 2021 cohort member, winning $25,000 in a pitch competition. Early career experience includes sales and R&D at High Purity Natural Products, focusing on cannabinoid recipes and product creation. Cugno holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Business from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
