Karthik Prabhakar

Karthik Prabhakar is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in venture capital, currently serving as Managing Partner at PeerCapital since August 2022. Prior to this role, Karthik held the position of Managing Director at Chiratae Ventures (formerly IDG Ventures India) from April 2011 to June 2022, where responsibilities included sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities, leading investments and exits, and engaging in fund formation and investor relations. Karthik began the journey at Chiratae Ventures as an intern in 2010, gaining experience in deal sourcing, due diligence, and strategic consulting. Earlier in Karthik's career, roles at Intel involved the design and development of embedded software and process improvement in software delivery. Karthik holds a PGDM from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Science from RVCE, Bangalore.
