Patrick Slaine

Patrick Slaine, PhD, is a Principal Scientist at Pegasus Biotech Inc. since March 2022, where expertise in project design, analytical development, and scientific communication has been pivotal. Having previously served as a Senior Scientist in Vaccine Technology Development at the same company, Patrick contributed to advancements in vaccine design and testing strategies. Prior experience includes leadership as a Lead Biologist at 3DBioFibR Inc., focusing on biological fiber applications, and a postdoctoral research fellowship at Dalhousie University studying influenza A virus replication kinetics. Patrick holds a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from Dalhousie University, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics from the University of Guelph. Additionally, Patrick has extensive mentorship experience in research and educational settings.
