Scott Howard

Scott Howard has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, currently serving as Vice President of Research and Development and Vice President of Operations at Pegasus Laboratories, Inc. since November 2006. In this role, Scott oversees more than 80 employees, manages facility capital projects, CMC development, and manufacturing operations across two plants. Prior positions include Director of Tech Development and Validations, focusing on animal health product development, and Manager of Engineering and Validation, where responsibilities included process validation and formulation development for contract manufacturing. Earlier in the career, Scott held positions as Engineer III and Project Manager at Brookwood Pharmaceuticals and as Scientist II at the Institute for Biological Detection Systems. Scott began a career in environmental management as a Bioassay Lab Technician at the Alabama Department of Environmental Management. Academic qualifications include a BS in Chemistry from Auburn University and an MS in Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
