Melanie Basham

Melanie Basham currently serves as the Life Enrichment Director at Pegasus Senior Living and also works as a Clinical Music Therapist for Neuro RehabCare. With a strong background in music therapy, Melanie has previously held roles such as Music Therapist and Life Skills Coordinator at Meadowbrook Rehabilitation Hospital, where care was tailored for traumatic and acquired brain injury patients. Other notable positions include Clinical Music Therapist at Lindsey Marts Music Therapy, PRN Music Therapist at Truman Medical Centers, and an internship at Village Hospice focused on end-of-life care. Melanie’s extensive experience in the field is supported by advanced degrees in Music Therapy, Music Performance, and a Master of Healthcare Administration. Additionally, Melanie has contributed to education as an Adjunct Professor at Calvary Bible College and served in a leadership role at Claridge Court, enhancing community operations.
