Raphael Pollock

Raphael Pollock has been a Board Member at Pelotonia since November 2004. Prior to that, they served as the Administrative Assistant to the Executive Director at the American Heart Association from March 2002 to November 2004. In this role, Raphael was responsible for administrative duties including acknowledgement letters, meeting notices, agendas, minutes, and follow-up. Raphael also managed database entry and reporting for all campaigns and events, and oversaw the planning and coordination of the Heart Gala, Women’s Luncheon, and golf outing. Additionally, Raphael procured raffle and auction items, and handled event logistics including pre-event details, post-event follow-up, invoicing, and calls.

During their time at the American Heart Association, Raphael served as Chairperson for the Internal Heart Walk campaign, which saw a 100% increase in funds raised and twice as many participants. Raphael also served as Chairperson for the internal United Way campaign, which saw an increase in dollars raised and reached 100% participation two years in a row.

Before their time at the American Heart Association, Raphael served as the Administrative Assistant to the Development Director at the YMCA of Central Ohio from August 1998 to March 2002.

Raphael Pollock attended Marion Catholic High School before going on to The Ohio State University, where they earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Women's Gender and Sexuality Studies.
