Kathy Sherwood

Kathy Sherwood is the current Co-Founder and Director at Pelvital USA. Kathy has over ten years of experience in the medical device industry and has been in various leadership positions during their career. Kathy started their career at Boston Scientific in January 2012 as the Director of Market Access. In this role, Kathy was responsible for market access, health economics, and reimbursement strategies for the urology and rhythm management business divisions. Kathy then became the Vice President of Marketing for St. Jude Medical's largest product division in January 2012. In this role, Kathy was responsible for all aspects of marketing related to non-core, emerging technologies, therapies, and markets. Kathy was then recruited by Kinetic Concepts, Inc (KCI) in January 2009 to be the Senior Director of Health Economics & Reimbursement EMEA. In this role, Kathy was responsible for Pan-European government affairs, market access strategies, reimbursement negotiations, and health economics for the world's leading Negative Pressure Wound Therapy provider. Kathy was successful in creating robust long term payment pathways in growth countries by driving clinical and cost effectiveness evidence strategies, including randomized control trials and registries.

Kathy Sherwood has a MBA in Marketing & Operations from the University of Minnesota and a BSME in Mechanical-Industrial Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
