Sergey Surkov

Sergey Surkov is an experienced technology professional with a focus on software engineering and artificial intelligence. Currently serving as the Architect for the Intelligence Platform at People.ai since January 2021, Sergey previously held roles as an Advisor for AI and Computer Vision at Boost, where assistance was provided to the research team in teaching machines to understand basketball. As CEO and cofounder of sourcerer.io, Sergey focused on the importance of software commits in the development process. Sergey was also the CTO and cofounder of Ditto Technologies, which aimed to simplify the process of buying glasses and was later acquired by 1-800-contacts. Additional roles include being a Partner at Graphical Networks, where the emphasis was on data visualization, and a Software Engineer at Google, contributing to search ranking and user interface improvements. Sergey began the career as a Lead Software Engineer at netViz, LLC, developing a tool for enterprise data visualization. Sergey earned a Master’s Degree in Applied Mathematics from Irkutsk State University between 1995 and 2000.
