Martina Nikodemova

Martina Nikodemova serves as the Programme Manager for Southern Africa at People in Need since August 2022, providing strategic leadership and management support for initiatives in Angola and Zambia. Previously, Martina held the role of Country Director for People in Need in both Angola and Zambia, leading sizable teams and representing the organization to various stakeholders. Additional experience includes serving as a short-term election observer for the European Union Election Observation Mission in multiple countries and working as a Programme Coordinator with The International Foundation for Electoral Systems. Earlier roles include Project Manager for the Global Fund at UNDP and Political Affairs Officer with the United Nations Integrated Mission in Timor-Leste. Martina holds a Master's degree in International Relations from Prague University of Economics and Business.
