Pat Murphy

Pat Murphy is an accomplished independent filmmaker with extensive experience as a director, producer, and writer of numerous independent films, as well as corporate, advocacy, nonprofit, and educational content since 2012. As a video editor for PEOPLE Magazine and People TV since 2016, Pat has contributed to various live news and studio projects. Prior to this role, significant editing experience includes serving as lead editor for Emmy-award-winning documentarian Jim Brown, handling projects featuring notable artists, and working as an assistant editor on documentaries for Showtime and PBS. Pat's career began with internships and production assistant roles at respected production companies, complemented by a B.F.A. in Documentary Production & History from New York University.
