David Joseph Menezes

David Joseph Menezes is a professional with a diverse background in social entrepreneurship and program management. Currently serving as the Director of Programs at People+ai since September 2023, David was instrumental in initiating the fellowship program as the organization's first volunteer. Previously, David held the position of Lead for Venture & Fellowship at Ashoka from March 2021 to August 2024, where responsibilities included selecting Ashoka Fellows and engaging with inspiring social entrepreneurs across India. As the Founder of TZED Collective from June 2020 to August 2023, David embarked on an entrepreneurial journey that began by accident. David's career started at the Wadhwani Foundation from July 2018 to March 2021, focusing on product and program strategy for a global not-for-profit aimed at enhancing entrepreneurship and employability skills. David holds a Post Graduate Program in Leadership Management from the Indian School of Development Management, a Master of Science in Economics & Statistics from Symbiosis International University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics & Statistics from KC College.
