Garth Napier

Garth Napier is an accomplished business leader with extensive experience in the retail sector. Currently serving as Chief Commercial Officer at Pepkor Holdings Limited since August 2024, Garth previously held key leadership positions, including Managing Director at Old Mutual Insure from November 2018 to April 2024 and Managing Director at PEP Africa from February 2017 to October 2018. Garth also spent over eight years at Edcon, where roles included Chief Executive of both the Specialty Division, overseeing multiple well-known retail brands, and the Discount Division, managing value retail chains. Earlier in the career, Garth was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company. Garth holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BCom in Accounting and Finance from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
