Maya Patel

Maya Patel is a seasoned social media and marketing professional with a rich background in strategic communication. Currently serving as a Social Strategist at PepsiCo since October 2024, Maya has also founded and developed The Last Word. Book Club, which has rapidly expanded to over 700 members since its inception in July 2023. Prior experience includes various roles at Woodruff, culminating in a position as Senior Social Media Specialist, and contributions to MOJO AD as a researcher. Maya has demonstrated leadership skills as Public Relations Chair for Alpha Delta Pi Sorority, where responsibilities included managing social media and marketing for events. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism with a focus on Strategic Communication and a Minor in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
