Tom Nurkkala

Tom Nurkkala is a highly experienced professional in the field of computer science and engineering, currently serving as a Senior Research Scientist at Peraton Labs since July 2023. Previous positions include Principal Engineer at Administrate and Associate Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at Taylor University, where a long tenure lasted from January 2008 to July 2022. Additional experience encompasses roles such as Senior Lead Software Engineer at General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems and various engineering and faculty positions within prominent organizations and academic institutions. Tom Nurkkala holds a PhD and an MS in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota, along with an MA in Theological Studies from Bethel University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
