Peter Dorrins

Peter Dorrins is an accomplished energy consultant and board member with over three decades of experience in the industry. Peter currently serves on the advisory board for Permex Petroleum, and they previously served on the board of directors for H2O Innovation Inc. from November 2014 to December 2017.

Dorrins began their career in the oil and gas industry in the early 1980s, starting as a sales engineer for Schlumberger. Peter later transitioned into management and consulting, co-founding their own energy consulting firm, Peter Dorrins Energy Consulting, in 2001. Through their firm, they have provided expert advice and services to major oil and gas companies around the world, helping them to navigate the ever-changing landscape of the energy industry.

In 2014, Dorrins was approached by Investissement Québec, the venture capital arm of the Quebec government, to serve on the board of directors for H2O Innovation Inc., a TSX Venture Exchange-listed company that designs, builds, and operates water and wastewater treatment systems. Peter served on the board for three years, during which time the company added a new business pillar operating water treatment facilities to its existing two pillars of designing and building water treatment systems and supplying chemicals and equipment to the sector. Dorrins was also a member of H2O Innovation's Corporate Governance, Remuneration and Risks Committee.

Peter Dorrins received a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Manitoba with First Class Honours. Peter is certified by The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) as a Professional Geologist.
