Koda Merkley

Koda Merkley is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in geology and natural resource management. Currently serving as a Mining Engineer, Systems Architect, and Geologist at Perpetua Resources since November 2017, Koda has honed skills in geological modeling, resource estimation, and workflow optimization. Prior roles include a GIS Analyst at the Idaho State Tax Commission, where responsibilities included the administration of statewide datasets and map production automation, and a Physical Science Technician with the U.S. Forest Service, conducting compliance inspections for mineral operations. Koda's earlier experience includes positions at Willoughby & Associates PLLC and Enexco International Inc., where expertise in data management and field geology was developed. Koda holds a Master of Public Administration in Natural Resources Management and Policy and a Bachelor of Geoscience in Geology from Boise State University, complemented by an Associate of Arts in Business Administration.
