Gunnar Gray

Gunnar Gray is a seasoned product designer with extensive experience in leading design initiatives across various companies. Currently serving as Product Design Lead at Perplexity since February 2024, Gunnar previously held the position of Founding Designer at Artifact from November 2022 to February 2024, where contributions included designing an AI-powered discovery engine that was later acquired by Yahoo. Gunnar's career includes significant roles such as Principal Designer at MetaLab, where oversight of product quality and design direction was provided, and as Senior Product Designer at Livefront, specializing in mobile app design for notable clients. Earlier experiences encompass leadership in web and desktop design at Code42 and a foundation in graphic and interactive design at Rocket 55 and Pixelwerx. Gunnar holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Graphic Design & Visual Communication from MCTC.
