Gary Kernaghan

Gary Kernaghan is an experienced executive in the textile and apparel industry, currently serving as Vice President of Bottoms at Perry Ellis International since January 2020. Previously, Gary held the position of VP Apparel Solutions & Merchandising Performance Lifestyle Fabrics at INTERNATIONAL TEXTILES/BURLINGTON DIVISION from March 2016 to January 2020, where responsibilities included merchandising Burlington Performance Fabrics and developing seasonal collections. From April 2005 to March 2016, Gary served as Executive Vice President of Global Business Solutions at Burlington Fabrics, focusing on expansion opportunities utilizing ITG global technologies. Prior experience includes Senior Vice President of Merchandising at Tropical Sportswear/Savane International, overseeing brand merchandising, product development, and sourcing from October 1986 to March 2005, and Mens Designer Sportswear Buyer at DH Holmes from July 1976 to October 1986. Gary holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the University of New Orleans.
