Yunuen Mercado

Yunuen Mercado currently serves as Human Resources Director at Petco since October 2022, overseeing HR operations and strategy. Prior to this role, Yunuen held the position of HR Manager at Watlow, as well as various HR leadership roles at Mars, including Transformation Leader/HRBP Retail and Global Process Leader, where responsibilities included designing HR processes and ensuring compliance across the LATAM region. Yunuen's extensive experience also encompasses managing HR processes for a substantial workforce as Associate Services Manager at Mars and prior roles focused on training coordination and benefits administration. With a Master's degree in Administration from Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro, Yunuen brings a strong foundation in finance and human resources management to the field.
