Laura Twomey

Laura Twomey is a skilled Bioinformatician currently employed at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre since February 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Student Intern at the Institute of Computational Biology, focusing on spatial transcriptomics, data analysis, and RNAseq. Laura worked as a Biostatistician at Leukocare AG, performing statistical data analysis and collaborating with R&D teams. Additional internships and student positions involved research in ML methods, genotyping, metabolomics, and healthcare innovation. Laura holds a Master of Science in Human Biology from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and a degree in Biotechnology from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
