Rogerio Cunha

Rogerio Cunha has over 16 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, primarily with Petrobras since January 2007, where Rogerio currently serves as General Manager of Exploration, overseeing exploration assets. Previously, Rogerio held positions such as Exploration Manager, focusing on Pre-Salt and strategic areas, and Exploration Team Leader, coordinating projects within Brazilian Equatorial Marginal Basins. As an Exploration Geologist-Advisor, expertise was provided in deepwater sedimentation, supporting exploration and operational decisions. Early career experience includes a role as Junior Exploration Geologist at Starfish Oil & Gas S.A., working on geological and seismic interpretation for onshore basins. Rogerio holds a Bachelor's degree in Geological and Earth Sciences from UERJ, a Master's degree in Geology from Universidade Federal Fluminense, and another Master's degree focused on Deep-water Turbidite Depositional Systems from Università degli Studi di Parma.
