Carmel Cabacungan

Carmel Cabacungan is an experienced IT professional with a focus on policy and governance in the technology sector. Currently serving as the IT Policy and Governance Architect at Petron Corporation since March 2022, Carmel previously held the position of Information Security Analyst at Meralco Industrial Engineering Services Corporation (MIESCOR) from October 2020 to March 2022. Prior to this role, Carmel gained diverse experience at Punongbayan & Araullo, advancing from Associate IT Compliance Officer to Associate IT Security Officer and later to Semi Senior IT Security Officer between July 2018 and October 2020. Educational background includes a degree from the Technological Institute of the Philippines, completed in 2018.
