Syn Leong

Syn Leong possesses extensive experience in digital and data strategy within the energy sector, currently working at PETRONAS since May 2018, overseeing strategic projects that enhance data-driven decision-making and digital innovation. Key contributions include the development of the downstream digital roadmap and ESG data strategy, as well as leadership of the Youth Sustainability Network to foster climate action among young professionals. Syn's previous roles involved risk management in trading businesses and co-founding the ASEAN Festival to promote cultural understanding. Education includes an Honours Bachelor of Science in Geophysics from the University of Toronto and specialized training in Business Sustainability Strategy from MIT Sloan Executive Education.
